Thank you for considering a donation to Soul Care.  Soul Care has 2 areas of ministry to which tax-deductible donations can be directed.

1. The Soul Care Assistance Fund: This is our scholarship fund for individuals or couples who have a definite need for counseling and spiritual direction but cannot afford it at this time. The need for this kind of assistance has become especially severe with sharp increases in financial pressures for many which causes their lives and/or marriages to come apart at the seams while often simultaneously making it impossible for them to cover the cost of the help they need.

2. Developing Spiritual Formation Resources: These funds support Nathan’s research and development of spiritual formation resources (like Impersonating Ourselves – the Truth About the False Self) and the technical services required to produce them and make them available at no cost to the public. We’ve felt that God is directing us to make these resources available free of charge so as many people as possible can be challenged and drawn to a deeper understanding of themselves and a more intimate relationship with God and others.

Both of Soul Care’s tax-deductible ministry accounts are managed by Helping Hands Ministries, a Christian 501c3 ministry established in 1996 and headquartered in Georgia. Helping Hands Ministries administers both accounts and handles all the tax-deductible paperwork for donors. Helping Hands’ administrative fee is only 8% – less than any other non-profit we’re aware of, meaning more of your donation is used directly in ministry efforts rather than overhead and administration. Where necessary, Soul Care and Helping Hands verify scholarship recipients’ financial need by checking their payroll and/or tax documents, assessing their need for counseling and spiritual direction and confirming that Soul Care’s approach is the best fit for their need. All scholarship recipients are required to contribute at least a portion of each session’s fee - the amount depending on the severity of their financial need. Their portion of the fee ensures they always have some financial “skin in the game” and encourages their emotional buy-in for the heart process God is inviting them to.

We are excited as well as humbled by what God is doing in our own lives as well as the hearts of those He is touching through us. We encourage you to ask for the Spirit’s guidance on whether to support Soul Care’s ministry. If you do feel prompted to partner with us, print out the attached form to initiate a donation to Soul Care Ministries.

None of us are Christians without those who became Christ for us.
H. Richard Niebuhr

Sir, you wish to serve God and go to heaven? Remember you cannot serve him alone. You must therefore find companions or make them; the Bible knows nothing of solitary religion.
John Wesley
